Another Persian… Beautiful, lively colours, rich floral pattern, gilded surfaces. Mother-of-pearl framing with a special technique, which reminds us of the texture of the creased silk.
The Persian ornamentation is a mixed style. It unites the traditions, which is similar to the Arab's, whom they share a common origin with. It aims for naturalism, on which the Arab and Turkish style occasionally has an effect. This can be felt in some parts of Alhambra as well. In Persia, painting manuscripts was the centre of attention, which undoubtedly spread in the Muslim countries in a wider circle, and as such it extended the influence of this mixed style easily in these areas.
