Bamboo - Inkpaint |
![]() |
In this Indian ink painting I used the Far-Eastern technique (mainly Chinese and Japanese) which is made on thin, absorbent paper or silk, with the ink rubbed in a little water.
Mural paintings, draught screens, partitions, fans, dresses were painted with this kind of technique. They all long for harmony and want to capture the beauty of nature as a whole.
Szessu means the apex of Indian ink painting. The pictures consisted of a few brushstrokes, which were very popular in China as well. State: SOLD
